Initial OSD Settings

1-2 RECORD / DISC Setup-continued

Erase Setting

1 Press Setup in the stop mode to display the menus.

2 Press to select “RECORD/DISC”, and then press .

3 Press to select “Erase”, and then press .

Select “Con rm” to erase

This command may not be paused or cancelled.

•

When Finalization and Erasing begin, all REC functions are locked. Please do

not turn off the power at this time in case of loss of information.

-To return to the Setup MENU screen

Press .

-To complete the setup operation

Press Setup to exit from Setup MENU screen.

Protect Disc Setting

1 Press Setup in the stop mode to display the menus.

2 Press to select “RECORD/DISC”, and then press .

3 Press to select “Protect Disc”, and then press .

4 Select “Con rm” to Protect Disc.

After the Disc is Protected, the “Erase“ and “Make Compatible” functions will

become disabled.

-To return to the Setup MENU screen

Press .

-To complete the setup operation

Press Setup to exit from Setup MENU screen.
